Good News! Things are moving slowly but surely as we move to making the prickly pear a reality. I now have a pretty promising location. Its in downtown, the size is great and most importantly the owner is very nice and I think he can see the vision I have for the store. More meetings are needed, but I feel like there is real promise in that location. When it "came onto my radar", all of a sudden it just felt right.
Today, I had a very preliminary meeting with the bank just to here about my options and to try to establish some next steps. Funding is my next big leap to make. If only I could find a sponsor. :) You know, the type that would fund a start up business just because the community needs it and its the right thing to do. Not to mention that the owner is just a really sweet, down to earth girl who just wants to affect positive change in her community. tee hee hee...
Anyhow, I sense that doors continue to open for me and I am excited about the potential that we have in Norwalk. Before you know it, the Prickly Pear will be open for business and I can't wait to welcome you in the doors!
